FTGate enables the signing of outbound emails with the DKIM system.
In order to sign the messages and have them processed you must make changes to both FTGate and the domain DNS records.
The signing processes uses a public/private signing system which requires the generation of the keys. The generation process is beyond the scope of this document but there are external tools that can be used such as DKIM Core Tools. Using this tool you can create the records needed for both FTGate and the DNS entries.
Please follow the instructions on the site for your DNS public record update.
DKIM domain signing
The DKIM signing information is added to the DKIM tab on the domain settings page:
Simply enter the Selector and Private key, then select Add DKIM signature. Save the settings, and at that point the outbound messages will be signed.
