Mail Flow

Mail is received by FTGate via either SMTP or SmartPop. It is then processed through the spooler, virus and spam filters before being passed to either a local domain and mailbox (awaiting user collection), the Outbox (to be sent to the internet), or a Remote Domain (to be sent to a different private server).
